Jerry Satava is our Co-Founder and Resident Coach. Jerry has been dancing for over 25 years. He holds several Ohio Top Teacher awards along with being named a National Top Teacher in 2001. In 2014 Jerry set an unofficial world record for the most entries danced in a single day at a competition - 465! Not only has he trained multiple state and national champions, Jerry has also trained a student that won an open-to-the-world championship in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Prior to entering the dance world, Jerry was in the United States Marine Corps. He was also a deputy sheriff and Fire/Medic.

When he’s not on the dance floor, Jerry enjoys ATV riding with his brothers, going to the beach with his family and coaching his son’s baseball team.

We are so thankful for the legacy he is helping to create!
